One day after its scheduled conclusion, the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) came to an end in Le Bourget, outside of Paris.
The Parties approved the much anticipated new international climate agreement, titled “the Paris Agreement.”

The final agreement does not appear to contain any surprises and largely serves as a means by which to commit the Parties to fulfill their individual country pledges of climate action, their Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs).  Furthermore, there does not appear to be any specific reference to HFCs.
